Choosing Your Way to Your Ideal Life

- by Angie Lay

Choices. You make them every day.

Everything in life is a choice. If you choose to do something, that's a choice. In the same vein, if you choose to ignore something and NOT make a decision, that, my friend, is a choice as well.

Contrary to popular belief, you really DO have the ability to create your life exactly as you want. The decisions you make on a daily basis will dictate how your life will turn out. The best choices are made with self-awareness. If you make decisions based on fear and avoidance, then suffice it to say your life will reflect those choices.

On the other hand, if you make bold, empowering choices, those will be the choices your life will mirror. Just as you can't stand in front of a mirror and see anyone's reflection besides the person standing there, you also can't find a person who isn't the sum total of the choices made up to this point.

Better choices = Better results.

You also need to focus on what it is you want, not what you don't want. When you put focus on what you want to avoid instead of focusing on what you really want, you breathe life to the very thing(s) you want to avoid, creating the exact opposite of what you really intended.

When you release yourself of the negative hold those thoughts have over you, you must set an intention to replace the old, disempowering thoughts with thoughts destined to help you live your best life.

If you don't replace the old, disempowering thoughts with fresh, empowering ones that make you feel your best; the old ones seem to have a way of creeping back in.

Keep your attention on your intentions. Don't focus on the obstacles. Instead focus on the end result, the result of your choosing. By doing this, you keep yourself open to the multitude of possibilities for bringing about that which you desire.

Step into faith - Detach - Let go and let God (The Universe, Source, etc...)

Consider your intentions and inspirations are coming from Divine Order and it's your duty to fulfill them. You aren't given a desire without the means to achieve or utilize it. Would you blatantly say "NO" to God if He came right out and asked you to do something? Of course not.

When you ignore your inspirations and let your fragile ego take over, that is exactly what you are doing. By acting on your inspirations, you are honoring your authentic self, the part that is, "of God."

God (The Universe, Source, etc...) is always trying to help you. Are you allowing the help or unintentionally pushing it away?

Open up yourself to the abundance of life's riches just waiting for you. Remember, you can have anything in life you desire if you are open to receiving it and you do this one simple thing...

BELIEVE.
